Meet your Therapist

Hi! My name is Tyleshia Jennings, LCSW, LISW-CP. By profession, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Independent Social Worker- Clinical Practice in the State of South Carolina. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, minoring in African American Studies, and again in 2017 with a Master’s in Social Work.

I have professional experience in the non-profit, private and community mental health, and county government sectors; providing services that range from Case Management and Group Therapy to Military and Forensic Social Work. I specialize in therapeutic services related to Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and Perinatal Mental Health.

I genuinely believe that we are more than our circumstances and I love working with people to help them navigate all the emotions that come with the things we try to hide. In our society, it seems that we feel that it is so important to put on a happy face, but we sometimes forget to love ourselves through the discomfort of whatever it is we are facing. Society promotes trending styles and topics, well, I believe that finding your joy is a trend that should withstand the test of time.
